There once was a packie from Nantucket ...
And there we stopped, unable to come up with a family-friend limerick to report on a Nantucket food/liquor outlet planning an outlet on Old Colony Avenue in South Boston.
Fresh Nantucket, which sells "freshly sourced" salads and sandwiches to go with the adult beverages it also sells, is planning to open at 232 Old Colony Ave. in South Boston, where the Stadium Sports Bar used to be, until it was replaced by condos, attorney Carolyn Conway told the Boston Licensing Board this morning.
Alexis Sillery, an Army veteran who has raised three kids and who has a background in food and liquor that includes being part of the team that opened Legal Harborside, would run the new shop, Conway said.
Conway said the new outlet would prove a boon for all residents in the new condos in the area.
The board decides at a meeting this afternoon whether to approve the license request for the packie part of the operation. Conway said she and Sillery would return in a couple of weeks for a license to serve food.

Put anything down there, literally anything. I don't even care if it's a Leftorium.

I'm reminded of an old limerick:
There once was a man from Nantucket
Who drove to his job in Nantucket
He drove to his job
Then later to his home
I will say again, this was Nantucket

Boon to residents
including all the junkies who peruse that neighborhood?
Any relation to Ryan?
Becuase this just sounds like a developer has been stuck with dead retail space for several years (mainly because it sits across from a stark empty field still lined with COMING SOON banners with promises that materialized) and needs someone, ANYONE, to put something in there no matter what so it doesnt look like a total demilitarized zone.
