Rhapsody by Wu

Michelle Wu playing the piano at Symphony Hall

Our own Ron Newman took in the BSO's free Concert for the City, which featured Mayor Wu performing a piano solo of Gershwin's "Rhapsody in Blue." Before the main event, the Pops Gospel Choir performed.

When I made my video of the Gospel Choir, I was in a small room, against the back wall, so not in anyone else's way.

Great performance, Mayor Wu.

I didn't see any sheet music on the piano, nor any electronic equivalent. The Pops players used sheet music, but not Wu.
