Boston Police say no curses at Fenway
By adamg on Wed, 10/15/2008 - 4:12pm
Boston Police report arresting some guy for "swearing in the presence of young fans/children" at Tuesday's massacre Red Sox game at Fenway Park and then swearing even more at Fenway guards attempting to eject him from the facility. Also, police report arresting two Rhode Islanders on charges of spitting on fans sitting in better seats than theirs.
Speaking of alleged out-of-town louts, Boston Police also say they arrested a guy from Maine on charges he sliced the tires of three cars at Commercial and Hanover streets in the North End early Tuesday morning.
Innocent, etc.

Budget cuts? Start with cops
If only we could send some of those budget cuts in the direction of the tyranny patrol.
Lest it need be said, it should not be illegal to swear near kids. Fuck that law.
yeah, great...
...except that crime rates historically have skyrocketed in the year following economic depression. Granted, it'd be nice to spend the money on productive social programs, but crime causes more local economic depression where it happens.
Vote yes on question 2
It will save police, prosecutors, and courts quite a bit of money by decriminalizing possession of small amounts of marijuana.
The swearing guy was
The swearing guy was arrested for "Being a Disorderly Person," which probably is a result of not leaving the park when he was asked to by Fenway security. The swearing is not illegal but it maybe against the rules in the park, I don't know. Fuck if you cant swear when you're losing game four of the ALCS by 10 ten runs.
What does slashing tires
What does slashing tires really get you in the end? (Besides arrested.)
