Woman reports attack by three men in East Boston park

A woman was sexually assaulted overnight in Bremen Street Park by three men, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
In addition to a sexual assault examination and the victim's statements, investigators gathered physical evidence from the area of the reported assault and are seeking assistance from any witnesses who may have been in the area of the park and observed anything unusual between yesterday afternoon and early this morning. State Police are in charge of the investigation because the park is owned by Massport.

Does the Massport Police Department still exist?

Mass port Police patrol the maritime properties (Seaport/Southie). State Police, specificallyTroop F, are stationed at Logan and cover the East Boston properties.
Breman Park isn't small
Breman Park isn't small with over 18 acres of fields, playgrounds, gardens and such. Wish they had given a little more detail about the location within the park.
Wow shocked! I truly thought
Wow shocked! I truly thought that area of the Park was safe , why don't they replace massport police for $9 an hour security guards ..unbelievable...
Or have State police patrol the area all night on horseback.
