Woman was marched half a mile to a rape by a man with a knife in the South End
UPDATE: Arrest made.
Boston Police report a woman was sexually attacked early Monday morning at the Carter Playground on Columbus Avenue - after being forced to walk there by a man with a knife.
Police say the woman was at Greenwich Park and Claremont Street, near the Southwest Corridor Park in the South End, around 1 a.m. when a man rode up to her on a blue BMX bike and said he had a knife. He then forced her to walk to the playground, several blocks away, where he attacked her, police say. When done, he fled down Davenport Street towards Tremont, police say.
He's described as Hispanic, in his late 20s or early 30s, 5'6" or 5'7" with a medium complexion and build, short, cropped brown hair and tattoos on his right arm and the back of his right hand. He wore a button-down shirt with three-quarter-length sleeves and possibly a vest.

I'm confused. IS this the
I'm confused. IS this the same article as the one this morning with the sexual assault in South Boston?
South Boston?
No, this is the first I've heard of anything in South Boston. Link, by chance?
Some headlines said South Boston but it is South End
The Globe originally reported this as South Boston, in error. The headline has been fixed, though I can still see the original South Boston headline in a Google search for "sexual assault Carter playground"

The Globe should just remove Boston from name now
Most importantly, I'm so sorry to hear of this and wish the victim sincere hopes for a full recovery.
Npow my Globe rant:
Good grief, what a fucking joke they've become.
I wouldn't believe them if they told me the sun was coming up tomorrow.
Pathetic and the Herald is no better.
Keep up the good work Adam.
Someone who knows him probably recognizes the description
Contacting the police is the right thing to do.
Cuffed
Globe reports that the assailant was apprehended; he had recently been released from prison for a similar attack and was still wearing his GPS ankle bracelet. http://www.bostonglobe.com/metro/2016/08/23/woman-sexually-assaulted-sou...
Repeat offender
BPD has arrested a suspect whom they can place at the scene via GPS bracelet. Convicted of a 2007 rape on Tremont Street.
