Student stabbed at Roslindale middle school

UPDATE: Boston Police report a 14-year-old student was charged with assault and battery by means of a dangerous weapon.

One student stabbed another in a restroom at the Washington Irving School on Cummins Highway around 9:30 a.m., NBC Boston reports, adding the victim's injuries are not considered life threatening.

I heard non-life threatening injuries thank God - I hope this student is OK (and the rest of the student body). Wonder if they have metal detectors at the school (?).
