Man cut, robbed on East 2nd Street in South Boston; suspect arrested

Boston Police report arresting a local man on charges he sliced another man in the leg and stole his phone around 2:45 a.m. outside 525 East 2nd St., near H Street in South Boston.

Thomas Digaetano, 38, of South Boston, was arrested - on East 8th Street - and charged with armed robbery and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, police say, adding the victim was taken to a local hospital with minor lacerations.
