Teen shot in stomach, leg on Geneva Avenue in Dorchester

Boston Police report a 15-year-old was shot twice outside 237 Geneva Ave. shortly after midnight on March 19.

Responding officers quickly took life saving measures, applying a tourniquet to the young victim’s leg as well as a trauma dressing to a second serious wound near his abdomen. Boston EMS arrived on scene a short time later and transported the juvenile victim to a local area hospital for treatment of his injuries which were considered to be life-threatening in nature at the time.

Police say the teen is now expected to pull through.
