Resident of facility for homeless vets in Dorchester stabbed to death; another resident charged

Boston Police report a man was found stabbed inside 6 Hartford St., in Dorchester around 12:05 p.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police report arresting Eduardo Bonilla, 43, of Dorchester on a murder charge not long after officers arrived.

The address is home to a Pine Street Inn facility for up to 16 homeless veterans, who have their own rooms but shared kitchens, bathrooms and common areas, along with case managers to help them.

Bonilla and the victim, not yet identified by police, were both residents.

Bonilla is scheduled for arraignment in Roxbury court tomorrow.
