Somebody set a car on fire at the Readville train station, police say

Transit Police report they are trying to find who set a car ablaze at Readville station, off Milton Street in Hyde Park, early Tuesday, and why.
Police say the vehicle, fully engulfed in flames around 5 a.m., had been stripped of plates and other possible identifiers.

I doubt it.
That would be tricky
Not sure what make and model that wreck is, but many manufacturers stamp large components before the vehicle ships. Ripping the plate off the dash isn't sufficient.

Whenever I get a little scratch on a car, to avoid seeing it, I drive the car head-on into a brick wall. I don't notice that little scratch any longer.

Close to impossible to do insurance jobs these days. Or just drug gang related. Or it could be the wrath of one scorned.
It happens sometimes.
Cars just explode. Natural causes.
Especially ICE ones.
They've been exploding since they were invented.
