SUV into front of Genki Ya

Boston firefighters, EMTs and paramedics responded to Genki Ya, 232 Tremont St. at Stuart Street after an SUV driver hit at least one pedestrian and then plowed into the front entrance shortly before 3:40 p.m. Read more.

Boston police, firefighters and EMTs responded to 399 Congress St. at B Street after a driver crashed into a Seaport Boulevard building near there, bounced off and then took out a utility box, shortly after 8:30 p.m. on Sunday. First responders found the driver unconscious.

MassLive reports the driver died.

Illegally parked Cybertruck in a No Standing zone

A peeved resident filed a 311 complaint this morning about this 1980s-era computer graphic illegally parked in a No Standing zone at Soldiers Field Road and Soldiers Field Place in Brighton.

Take a look at this beauty. It's so rare to see a truck just completely destroyed like that, sending debris everywhere and creating one hell of a massive backup - the driver must have gotten up quite the head of steam. Plus, the driver gets credit for returning to the sport's origins and traditions - plowing a rental truck into the bridge as God intended.

Two flooding photos from Ashmont

Update, Tuesday a.m.: The MBTA rolled out shuttle buses to replace Ashmont Red Line service after the water disrupted power to the trains.

A National Grid crew working in the street at Dorchester Avenue at Ashmont Street in Dorchester around 6 p.m., struck a Boston Water and Sewer Commission main, turning Peabody Square into an impassible lake and forcing firefighters to evacuate at least one building after they started smelling a strong odor of gas. Tow companies last month sued the Registry of Motor Vehicles for slowing down and even stopping the processing of documentation they need to sell off cars they say they towed at the request of local police but which are now just taking up space in their garages because the cars' owners are not coming forward to reclaim them. Knocked over stone wall across from Jamaica Pond

Cambridge Day reports on the blood on asphalt on Memorial Drive at Ames Street left from where one driver used a pipe upside the other guy's head and that guy took out his licensed gun and plugged his opponent several times. Both will face charges - once they get out of the hospital.
