Noteworthy event on the Franklin line this morning

Stephen Sherlock notes his train into Boston actually arrived at South Station on time. Of course, the T made up for that by replacing three "double" cars with single-level ones, which meant the train was so packed he couldn't do any work like he usually does.

The same thing happened on the 506/8:09AM Framingham/Worcester train- lots of single cars with all the seats full and many people standing in aisles- but it was, as usual, 20ish minutes late.

All the good cars, and times, have been going to the Greenbush line.
