Who shot at Michael Flaherty?

Which is worse? That somebody tried to kill the city-council president last night or that somebody took a potshot at his SUV just for the hell of it?
The Unchosen One: This was probably not an assassination attempt, but doesn't that make it scarier?
... It means that there are people taking pot-shots at cars with absolutely no regard for who is driving. The only way to protect yourself is not to drive. Just a sad state of affairs that people are shooting at each other for no reason.
Bruce blames it on Boston's restrictions on gun ownership.
Here's hoping that the Brian McGrory who runs the private debate between Tom Menino and Maura Hennigan at Locke-Ober today is the tough take-no-prisoners Brian McGrory rather than the wussie elegy-to-my-summer-cottage Brian McGrory so that maybe we can hear hizzonah's thoughts on crime in Boston.

thank god he is alright....
I just really feel bad for that poor man who was out working hard that night to make our city better. I just thank god he wasn't hurt as I know he has a wife and four children. From the tv, I understand he helped take down a drug dealer this summer who mistakenly called his phone to see him some pills. I hope he can and will use the same creativity to stop this epidemic of shootings that are ravenging Boston that I believe have a lot to do with Bush running the country and the drugs.

I think you answered your own question. He took that drug dealer off the street because he cares so much about reducing the epidemic of drug abuse in the city so I have no doubt he'll do the same with the guns. Flaherty will do it...he's that kind of guy.
