Stomper back behind bars for allegedly stomping another homeless guy
A homeless man with a penchant for stomping other homeless men is charged with beating a 43-year-old homeless man on May 18.
Dennis Connolly, 54, was ordered held earlier this week in lieu of $5,000 on the charge, according to the Suffolk County District Attorney's office. Even if he managed to raise the money, Connolly would remain bars pending trial because a Boston Municipal Court judge revoked his bail in another case, the DA's office says.
Prosecutors say Connolly's most recent beating happened off Ipswich Street and sent his victim to the hospital with head and facial injuries. Connolly fled before police arrived; but the law caught up with him this past weekend.
Connolly was acquitted last year on charges he threatened a convenience-store clerk and vowed to harm a police officer planning to testify against him.
Innocent, etc.

What
in Sam Hill was this menace doing out on the streets to begin with?
When I was still a courier downtown I was coming out of JJ Foley's, and Dennis came up to me. I recognized him, made the mistake of making eye contact. He threw me up against the wall, did that thing where you make a pretend gun with your hand, and held it to my temple. Then he tried to box my ears. I blocked, hit him in the face, and scooted down Kingston Street. Scary moment.

Maybe he got treatment for mental illness or whatever his problem is.
