Ever think bills in the legislature are full of fluff?

An Act designating the Fluffernutter as the official sandwich of the Commonwealth.

Sponsored by Rep. Kathi-Anne Reinstein of Revere, who has been trying to get this vital legislation enacted since 2006, when she got all up in then Sen. Jarrett Barrios's grill after he tried to ban Fluff from school menus.

At least Rep. Reinstein knows how to get her name in the news without running for vice president. Sweet.

I think the legislature has more important things to do.

However, I am glad they chose Fluff. I live next door to the factory and it has always been a staple in my home.

From what Ive heard she is part of the leadership team and spends loads of time in the State House. Also compared to other reps she lives right next door so must spend very little time traveling. Plus I do not believe she has a job besides being a rep. Other reps work as lawyers or other things during the year as well. A little side track like this is not going to take up much of her time.

The less our legislature does, the better.

Now we need to get a giant bronze fluffernutter somewhere along that useless Greenway downtown.
