Citibank branches are a total waste of useful retail space in Harvard Square, Porter Square, Winter Hill, and other places around the Boston area. I'll be happy to see them all go away.

The Wang Center has also noticeably declined under Citibank's oversight (or lack of it).

Bank branches in general eat up too much of the most visible storefronts, especially in Harvard square.
