I can't think of one good thing about commercial radio.

I have XM Radio, and it's really good. I'm willing to pay so I don't have to listen to commercials, but actually I am willing to pay so I don't have to listen to DJs!!!

I took a look at the last 10 songs played on WBOS. Oh, my god, so boring. Beast of Burden? Something to Talk About? YUCK.

Between XM and iTunes radio stations (I love 1.FM's ambient music station) there's no reason to ever tune into Boston radio.

And, while we're at it, maybe someone could clarify something for me. Steve Garfield says Charles Laquidara "keeps it real". Is Charles live in the morning? If so, that means he's broadcasting at 2 AM, right? He's in Hawaii.

Or, is it a tape? Do they tell people, if it is taped?

Just wondering.
