Entire GOP running against Dianne Wilkerson?
By adamg on Mon, 08/28/2006 - 5:40pm
You'd expect Dianne Wilkerson's allegedly Republican opponent, Samiyah Diaz, to demand the senator quit because she hasn't yet been even charged with perjury let alone convicted (well, or charged but not yet convicted in the case of campaign fraud), but, hey, she must be guilty. Kimberly Atkins reports that Republican candidates in other state-senate districts are now trying to make Wilkerson an issue.
Oh, speaking of Diaz, somebody might suggest that she either update the campaign blog or take it down.

Can someone run for both nominations?
I think someone on here mentioned that you can't be more than one party's official candidate. Is this true?
If Samiyah Diaz wins both the Republican nomination (because no one else is on the ballot) and the Democrat nomination (however unlikely), would she have to choose a party?
I'm only asking because I want to be a write-in candidate at the primary, and need to choose my party, over the next couple of days.
