... What has been most disturbing about the events leading up to today is the active and willing participation of "progressives" in an effort to strip gays and lesbians of legal protections. I am of course thinking of the singers over at Blue Mass Group. BMG has a large readership and a strong voice in political debate in the Commonwealth. Instead of using that platform to support the gay community and to support the action of the Legislature, they used their position to undermine the action of the legislators. If there is a vote today and the measure moves forward, these progressives are as equally responsible as Massachusetts Family Institute and VoteonMarriage.org. ...
