As I said over at Adam's site, I certainly hope that Christopher Lydon lands on his feet. He's been one of the bright spots of Boston's airwaves for too many years to go out on such a down note.
Is this most recent split as acrimonious as the one that saw Lydon unceremoniously dumped as host of The Connection due to contract disputes or whatnot? He's a resilient, resourceful and tenacious broadcast presence around here, and I'm sure he'll come back in all due time, just like he did after the dumping six years ago (was it really six? holy sheesh.)
