Some stupid marketing thing?

This one was a real "hey guys, let's all dress up like zombies and march down the street!" gathering like the ones that have been happening around Camberville in the past year. Apparently folks really love to dress up all zombie-like and shamble along with other like-minded folks.

Though now that you mention it, I bet it's only a matter of time before some marketing schlub decides it'd be a great way to promote a new whatever, and fools a bunch of well-meaning but unwitting Internet folks into participating.

"We're marching... for Coke Zero?! What the hell, guys?"

Also I would be worried that, with the proliferation of such marches (originally done, of course, with the intent to "freak out the norms") that should they become more popular, the general populace will ceased to be freaked, as it were, thus making us entirely unready for the time when the dead really do rise up from their graves and devour the living.

You know, false sense of security and all that.

Zombies on the Red Line:

me: do you mind if I take your pictures?
guy closest to me: RRRGGGGNNNN!
guy in the middle: (stares blankly)
girl: (mumbles) no problem.

The zombies got him! That's why Charlie never returned!

Were they marketing casinos where zombies seem to multiply? I swear I've seen that undead look on more than a few slot machine occupants.

The zombies were all hired by the T. I think I had one as my Red Line conductor the other day. He couldn't form a coherent sentence for love or money.

"Porter. Left. Commuter Rail."
"Downtown Crossing. Right. Orange Line."
