A GoFundMe set up by Roslindale resident Chris Lang has already gotten $26,000 in pledges to help the barbershop, threading salon and nine other businesses destroyed or shut yesterday when somebody drove into their Corinth Street building yesterday morning. Read more.

The Boston Fire Department reports a driver plowed into Threading for Beauty and Sebastian's Barber Shop on Corinth Street, just around the corner from Belgrade Avenue in Roslindale, this morning, destroying the businesses and taking out a good part of the building. Read more.

Sullivan's Pharmacy on Corinth Street in Roslindale Square will be closed Monday morning so that employees can attend the burial of owner Gregory Laham, who transformed what had been a basic neighborhood drugstore into a supplier of specialized prescriptions and medical equipment able to stay open even as chains forced the shutdown of other independent pharmacies across the state. Anti-Semitic flier in Roslindale

A Roslindale resident reports spending a minute this morning tearing down some anti-Semitic fliers posted at the Corinth Street bus stop in Roslindale Square.

They popped up a few days after a racist went around screaming about Asian-Americans, first at the city animal shelter on Mahler Road, then at the owner of a comedy club on Basile Street.
