Boston Police alert us that they, BFD, Boston EMS and mall security will conduct "a full scale training exercise" at the South Bay Mall at 5 a.m. on Sunday and so you shouldn't be alarmed at what you might see or hear should you pass by the mall then - or hear alarming calls on the local scanner channels.
A South Boston woman faces charges that she ran over another woman in the South Bay Mall parking lot off Allstate Road shortly after 11 p.m. on Wednesday, in part based on the "red residue" police found above one of her car's rear tires, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. A woman who smuggled some tequila - and blue Gatorade mixer - into the South Bay Applebee's rather than simply chugging down the chain's cheapo maragarita specials one afternoon last October got the restaurant hauled before the Boston Licensing Board today for a disturbance that left her and some poor guy who'd walked over from the nearby Olive Garden laid out outside.
