Live Boston reports a man was beaten in the head on Bowdoin Street near Hamilton Street in Dorchester. He manged to jump on a scooter and flee; officers found him nearly two miles away on Magazine Street in Roxbury, blood pouring from his head.

A man was stabbed in the upper back around 9:15 p.m. at Bowdoin and Hamilton streets, then showed up not long after at the South Bay Stop & Shop, from which he was taken to a local emergency room. A car crash near the stabbing scene might be involved.
