Southeast Expressway
A roving UHub photographer spotted a couple of gaggles of Trump supporters by and above the Expressway at South Bay today - some on the Southampton Street overpass, some along Frontage Road, all just up the road from the pro-Harris billboard at the IBEW hall.

Roving UHub photographer Vivian Girard couldn't help but notice this electronic billboard beside the IBEW Local 103 hall as he took his morning walk through Clam Point in Dorchester, near the Southeast Expressway.
The Dorchester Reporter reports on the flaming bus carrying students from the Josiah Quincy School in Chinatown on I-93 north in Dorchester this afternoon.
Roving UHub photographer Butternugz checked in from the northbound Expressway this morning, where he briefly shared the road with this van. He reports the driver was "dressed in full Star Wars flight gear with a helmet, waving a light saber out the window," and was repeatedly screaming "Fuck dem, it's us against them! " through the speaker mounted on the top of the van. Butternugz is not absolutely sure who "dem" are, but one possible tell is the small Confederate-flag sticker on the right window.
NBC Boston reports on the crash, which happened near where I-93 northbound connects with the Massachusetts Turnpike. One dead.
Live Boston shows us the mannequin inside the car State Police stopped in the Expressway HOV lane this week in some motorists vain attempt to get to zip down the highway all by himself.
He's not the first to try the trick.
MassDOT reports there were "major delays" on the Expressway southbound this morning due to separate big-rig rollovers. One truck ended on its side, spilling fuel and forcing the shutdown of three lanes near Southampton Street, then another truck jackknifed near Savin Hill, forcing two lanes shut. The trucks and messes were cleared arond 10:30 a.m., MassDOT says.
For the second time in a year, the Zoning Board of Appeal has rejected a proposal by a billboard company and the Polish American Citizens Club to erect a digital billboard on club property to beam ads at Expressway drivers - and to help financially support the non-profit club. Read more.

State Police report a man trying to walk across I-93 near South Bay made it across the outbound side and the median OK, but as soon as he jumped a barrier onto the inbound side was hit by a Highlander and thrown back onto the outbound side, suffering fatal injuries, around 9:40 p.m. on Saturday. State Police report that a man who got out of his car after he crashed into a guard rail was hit and killed by a another car whose driver stopped and which was itself rammed into by another car - driven by somebody who was then charged with OUI - sending the driver and a passenger to the hospital with serious injuries. A Suffolk County grand jury yesterday indicted now former State Trooper Kristopher Carr, 26, on a charge of motor-vehicle homicide while drunk for causing a crash on the Southeast Expressway last fall that killed a motorcyclist, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. Read more.
On Aug. 21, 1969, three locomotives being readied to haul freight to Albany, NY escaped what is now the Cabot Yard in South Boston and barreled right into the Southeast Expressway, carving deep grooves in the roadway before they came to a halt and blocking northbound traffic.

Michael Spicher spotted some geese littles taking advantage of a puddle near the Expressway and the narrow end of Fort Point Channel that splits the South End from South Boston today. Amy Deveau, who lives nearby, though, is not liking the scene:
this stresses me out. I helped escort a family of geese under 93 and stopped traffic in both directions and when we all made it to the other side I burst into tears. I hope these lil guys make it back to the channel.
Heading north on the Expressway, Kevin Tinsley captured the flaming remains of a pickup rammed into by the driver of a Jeep near the Neponset Circle exit early this afternoon, creating a jam up that left 93 south at a standstill as police closed the road to allow firefighters to douse the flames.
