Unfortunately, I don’t think this was something Mayor Menino saw the value in, and it didn’t get a lot of attention.

“I think Mayor Walsh believes in the sport and understands the impact it could have on the city beyond just the sport but what you can do with the use of the city and cultural events. Hopefully we’ll see if become a reality in the near future.

For local fans of Liverpool FC, it was the chance of a lifetime: To watch their soccer heroes in a match at Fenway Park. Unfortunately for An Tua Nua, a march of Liverpool supporters from Kenmore Square to Fenway on July 25 proved far more successful than its organizers had hoped, leading a BPD detective to write the place up and landing it before the Boston Licensing Board earlier this week.

New England Revolution striker Taylor Twellman is out for the remainder of the season with "concussion related problems."

The bad luck just goes on and on for this team. At least they won't lose the MLS Cup Final AGAIN because they'll be lucky if they get out of the first round.
