A Mattapan man was arraigned yesterday on charges of cocaine trafficking and disturbing a correctional institution after he was allegedly caught with more than 18 grams of the white powder - some found "on his person" during a strip search - the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. WBZ reports Suffolk County Sheriff Steve Tompkins is now investigating the paperwork error that let the two suspects briefly enjoy a day of freedom this week before they were re-captured and brought back to the jail to await court dates.
