The Boston Licensing Board tomorrow considers approving a proposal to transfer the beer and wine license held by Gerard's on Adams Street in Dorchester to the soon-to-open Aloft Hotel on D Street - and to grant a new full-service liquor license to Gerard's purchasers, who are planning on renovating the Dorchester institution. WCVB reports a man was found stabbed to death around 6:30 p.m. on Friday on Adams Street, near Pierce Street.
The Dorchester Reporter identifies him as Sean Dwyer, owner of the Clover City Unisex Barber Shop.
His body, in the middle of the road, was first spotted by passengers on an MBTA bus and police at first thought he had been hit by the bus.
