The MBTA says it hopes to break ground in 2024 on a new, entirely indoor bus facility along the Arborway to handle a larger fleet of all battery-powered buses starting in 2027 - which in turn could mean more capacity on currently overloaded routes, such as the 32 along Hyde Park Avenue. Read more.

The Boston Transportation Department will hold a "Hyde Park Avenue Multimodal Corridor" open house on Feb. 11 as part of its efforts to figure out how to make it easier for people to get between Wolcott Square and Forest Hills. Read more.

The Bulletin reports a recent meeting of the Clare Avenue Neighborhood Watch focused on how crowded the 32 bus on Hyde Park Avenue is. State Rep. Pamela Aimee had a ringside seat to watch a T tow truck try to haul away a 32 bus that got stuck on Hyde Park Avenue in Roslindale this afternoon. This was shortly before 5 p.m. - about an hour after she first spotted it stuck.
Seems people are continuing to park across from the train station, even though the city never cleared the road to the curb, narrowing the road to one lane and creating backups that now extend down to Roslindale.
