Around 5 p.m. Nick Aldwin reported from Queensberry Street in the Fenway:

There's just...no way to get to the even block of Queensberry. All crosswalks are blocked with a plow pile as high as the stop sign. Usually I'd shovel this out..it's way too much snow today.

Cabot, Cabot and Forbes and CIM Group of Los Angeles yesterday filed plans with the BPDA to replace a taxi garage and a second building on Kilmarnock and Queensberry streets in the Fenway with two eight-story buildings housing 443 residential units. Read more.

A Suffolk Superior Court jury today convicted Michael Purpura, 38, of Westwood on rape and strangulation charges for an attack in September of 2014, in which he followed a woman home to her Queensberry Street apartment from the Fenway Star Market, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports. A local developer and a California company told the BPDA this week they plan to replace the old Boston Cab garage on Kilmarnock Street and another low-slung building across the street with two towers housing a total of roughly 400 residential units. Read more.

Michael Purpura, 36, was ordered held without bail pending a dangerousness hearing Thursday on charges he forced a Queensberry Street resident into her apartment, then raped her last week, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

Meanwhile, Winchester Police announced they have charged Purpura with attempted kidnapping for an incident Saturday afternoon involving a 10-year-old girl in a tunnel at Skillings Field - and that additional charges may follow: Read more.

Boston Police report arresting Michael J. Purpura, 36, of Westwood, for Tuesday's sexual attack on Queensberry Street.

Purpura is scheduled for arraignment on a charge of aggravated rape in Roxbury Municipal Court on Monday.

BPD Seeking Public's Assistance in Identifying Individual

Boston Police tonight released images from surveillance video they say show the man who forced a woman into her apartment and sexually attacked her on Queensberry Street early this morning.

Running for the 55 bus

Seems the driver of a 55 bus couldn't get down a particularly narrowed Fenway street this morning, so he went down another one. And, of course, as Najah shows us, nobody told the people waiting for the bus at Jersey and Queensberry, forcing them to run to Jersey and Boylston to try to catch the bus, literally.
