Mary Ellen captured some muskrat love in Millennium Park along the Charles River yesterday. A bit upstream, she spotted an eagle doing a celebratory eagle dance before chowing down on that deer carcass on the ice.

Mary Ellen captured this muskrat (or some other rodenty critter) chowing down along the Charles River in West Roxbury the other day.
Moby Carp has company: Jameson Brown was walking around Jamaica Pond today when he looked down and spotted this furry critter cruising towards shore.
Jameson said it appeared to be an otter - it seemed too small for a beaver and its home "seemed more otter-like too, a hole more than a lodge."
But local wildlife aficionado Jef Taylor says, no, that's a muskrat.
Mooshrimp reported spotting several muskrats along the Esplanade yesterday, including this fellow by Exeter Street.
