The Boston Public Health Commission reports that starting Wednesday, the city will offer free Covid19 vaccinations noon to 6 p.m., Thursday through Saturday at the Bolling Building, 2300 Washington St. in Nubian Square and in the 2nd-floor Haymarket room at City Hall, 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Mondays and 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. on Wednesdays.
Although free, the city requests people register for the shots.
Update: Boston Animal Control arrived today and took the geese, presumably to a place where they can splash around and do other geese-type stuff.
Geese aren't supposed to be hatching their eggs on rooftops, but employees at BPS headquarters in the Bolling Building in Nubian Square reports one feathered couple has done just that - and now they're worried how the goslings will survive. Read more.
The partners behind a proposed jazz cafe in the Ferdinand storefront part of the Bolling Building are scheduled for a hearing before the Zoning Board of Appeal on Tuesday for the permission they need to open a spot for local and national performers - and to serve up local food. read more.

A 15-year-old was arraigned this afternoon on charges of carrying a firearm without a license, possessing ammunition without an FID card, possessing a firearm with a defaced serial number, assault with a dangerous weapon, and discharging a firearm within 500 feet of a building, following this morning's fight in the lobby of the Bolling Building, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.
The teen, not named because of his age, is due back in court on Feb. 14, the DA's office reports.
The Globe reports two teens got into a fight in the Bolling Building lobby, one had a gun and shot it, but it jammed after the first round. He's under arrest.
Volunteers at the Bolling Building in Dudley Square are busy today packaging 8,200 new winter coats for distribution next week to BPS students who need them.
Operation Warm bought the coats with donations from BNY Mellon, Genzyme Corporation, Vertex Pharmaceuticals, People’s United Community Foundation, the TD Charitable Foundation and a Boston-area philanthropist who wants to remain anonymous, according to BPS. Read more.
