Parents in Jamaica Plain and Hyde Park report finding one tick apiece on their kids after spending some time yesterday at the Arnold Arboretum and Sherrin Woods, respectively.
The Bulletin reports on the unwrapping of Boston Park and Rec's plans for Sherrin Woods on the Roslindale/Hyde Park line that include new trails and a camera system to catch the sort of miscreants who now routinely dump trash there.
Part of the camera system will include a Web site residents can call up to do some online monitoring so that they can alert the city when dumpers are skulking about.
