Boston and Chelsea firefighters responded to the Boston-bound side of the Tobin Bridge shortly after 9 p.m. after a car burst into flames. Read more.
WBZ shows us a what a beached cement truck looks like after it rolled over around 5 a.m. on the ramp from the Tobin that leads to I-93 south and Storrow Drive. State Police held off recovery efforts so that other drivers could squeeze by in the one remaining lane. The ramp was due to be shut at 9 a.m. to let crews get the truck out of there.

The Boston Fire Department reports firefighters responded to the Tobin Bridge around 11 p.m. on Monday for a fire in the shaft that used to carry toll takers up to and down from the bridge's toll booths from Terminal Street in Charlestown.
Some plastic about halfway between the ground and the lower deck caught on fire in the shaft, which is in the process of being demolished, the department reports. There were no injuries in the two-alarm fire, but outbound traffic was delayed.
