Something fishy about John Kerry's Web site
By adamg on Tue, 09/07/2010 - 9:49am
Steve Garfield informs us that the "Massachusetts" page on John Kerry's official Senate Web site notes our official state fish is the cod, but actually shows a photo of a salmon.
Use of "haddock," "sole," "harbor," "clam," "scale," "finny" and "crab" in puns related to this news is left as an exercise to the reader.

Who knows what other capers and hijinks are going on in that office!
No Howie Carr Story
You won't see a Howie Carr op-ed in the Herald on this topic because his spell-checker will keep changing "hake" to "hack."
Howie Carr is to busy telling
Howie Carr is to busy telling the truth about corrupt Mass. Dems to talk about fish.
Howie made all the good progressives cry when he pointed out that Cheryl rhymes-with-fakes Jacques put her girlfriend on the government payroll. Oh, the horror! Howie revealing that lesbians can be corrupt hacks too! So where is Cheryl now? Don't worry - right back on the state payroll. All is well in the world. Time to check the state payroll again.
sucker
Looks like you're taking Howie's bait, hook line and sinker.
Note: When I call you "sucker", I'm of course refering to remora brachyptera, i.e. the parasite fish known for attaching itself to sharks.
I'm not...
...I think anon is a sucker-type sucker. You know, the gullible type.
BTW, calm down, anon. Howie Carr is NOT god.
But...
I thought we were getting scrod.
Also wrong name for state flower
The state flower, common name "Mayflower," has an incorrect species name given. It should be Epigaea repens, not Epigaea regens.

And here we thought that the first mistake was just a fluke.

Just for the...
Maybe Kerry's people did this just for the halibut?
Or
