But an alert downtown tipster reports that around 11, both Hendricks and Sarah Jessica Parker were in Post Office Square Park enjoying some sandwiches from the takeout place filming a scene for something, no doubt the movie that just a couple days ago was advertising for skateboarders and food-truck owners as extras.

They're filming "I Don't Know How She Does It" today and tomorrow. Much of the story takes place in Boston, but it was filmed mostly in New York. They're up here to make the Boston scenes look more like Boston.

Hollywood has been selling a lot of Boston 'charm' lately, without Boston getting much in return. Other than an arguably deserved reputation for being full of simple-minded thugs with accents.

Sorry for the short post before. I couldn't feel my fingers, so I kept it short. Here are the pix. We were originally standing right at the foot of the path that leads straight to the Statehouse (they were filming on the path). They got paranoid after a while and made us move all the way to the T stop.

It was a horrible time to film. I hung around for about 45 minutes and couldn't feel my hands for a little while after. I can only imagine how cold SJP was with no gloves. The Common looked dull and lifeless.

One scene just wrapped up. Sarah Jessica Parker runs out of the little side street near the Union Oyster House and tries to catch a cab. Three of them (including "Brownstone Car Service" and "Midnigfht Ride") blow right past her.

They have a guy in a Santa outfit and fake snow on the ground.
