Excavator hits power line in Roslindale; worker trapped until NStar turns off power

Shortly after 1 p.m. on Symmes Street. Alex Jones photographed the scene, which brought news helicopters racing from wherever it is news helicopters spend their resting hours.

Beverly Airport (at least that's base for the MetroTraffic copter - which always seemed to get pressed into covering non-traffic news).

The LNS (WFXT/WBZ) helicopter and WCVB (& NECN) are out of Norwood, WHDH is Beverly.
