Man arrested for one Belle Isle Marsh attack; earlier death still under investigation
Authorities this morning announced the arrest of a former Hingham resident on charges he attacked a man walking through Belle Isle Marsh on the East Boston/Revere line on June 1.
Michael Bruzzese, 51, already on probation for a breaking-and-entering conviction, faces arraignment on charges of assault and battery on a person over 60, breaking and entering of a vehicle in the daytime, larceny, and robbery of a person over 60, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office and State Police say.
Officials emphasized Bruzzese, who most recently had "a temporary residence" in Cambridge, has not been charged with the death of Daniel Pepe, who was found with fatal injuries in the marsh on May 29:
The State Police investigation into how Mr. Pepe suffered his injuries is ongoing, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner has not yet ruled on the cause and manner of Mr. Pepe’s death.
Innocent, etc.

The Herald is reporting that Mental Mike lived in the woods behind Wonderland station. I wonder if the state provided him with a free t-pass and is he another example of a rich town like Hingham shipping all their problems into Boston via the MBTA.
