Power out in parts of South End, South Boston, Dorchester

Eversource reports the power went out at 7:01 a.m. and that it hopes to have it back on by 10 a.m. The company says 6,035 customers are affected.

Wow, I lived on Dwight Street for two years back in the mid-Aughts and never new I was in Eight Streets. Is this some kind of newfangled realtor gimmick?

Power went out for a second in the Polish Triangle at 7 AM and came back on. Then it went out again around 8:15.AM. It was then out for more than 3 hrs..
