Fire in ice machine shuts downtown coffee place

A Boston health inspector today ordered Flat Black Coffee, 50 Broad St., shut until it can clean up the mess caused when its ice machine caught fire. This includes cleaning up the "heavy buildup of water, soot, and chemical discharge on floor," thoroughly cleaning pretty much every surface in the place and having somebody haul away the remains of the ice machine.
