Medical examiner to determine if bones found in Revere marsh are human

State and Revere police are investigating the discovery by hunters this morning of what appear to be bones in Rumney Marsh behind a North View Terrace residence, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports.

They were transported to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, which will attempt to determine whether they are, in fact, human and, if so, the cause and manner of the person's death as investigators undertake identification efforts.
