Adam Castiglioni watched artists at work on the Greenway at Dewey Square today as they painted Shara Hughes's mural.

Greenway
This is absurd. The Greenway should be an open area. They could've done this on one of the buildings across the street.
You've never been there, I take it
No Greenway space was harmed in the mural's painting - it's on the side of an I-93 ventillation shaft.
Sorry
I've walked along there every other year or so, I didn't notice the shaft it in my travels.
This has been a mural space for years
Every year or so, the Greenway selects a new artist to paint here.
U silly wabbit
N/t
Wascally, not silly
You are thinking of the Twix wabbit.
Close
I believe you are thinking of the Trix rabbit.
I believe she's thinking of it as well.
I almost posted the same thing - but read it again: Twix wabbit. Trix rabbit. Get it?
Ah, yes
Long time since I saw Bugs or a Trix commercial.
I Hope I Like It
But if I don't, that's okay. No work of art is going to please every single person or connect with with every single person. If it ends up not really hitting a sweet spot for me, I'll just look forward to the next installation that follows, and in the meantime be glad that there is something more to look at and take into consideration there than just the plain wall of a ventilation shaft.
I am glad it's colorful
I largely share your sentiments, but I was disappointed a couple iterations ago when they had a very drab, grayscale mural up. We're surrounded by gray and brown in the city—bright colors are good. Beyond that I don't care too much. :-)
The big white space
I'm wondering what that large white space on the right will end up being. I'm guessing an eggplant.
Maybe A
Butternut Squash!!!!
