There are no fines for the dead train at Hynes

I know everyone who spends time here already knows this, but for anyone passing through: if you are headed through the Central Subway (the multi-branch Green Line tunnels) and have a destination on one of the branches, ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS take the first train that stops in your station as far as you can take it, then transfer to your correct train when it comes. If you are at Park and need to get to Newton and a C shows up, take the C to Kenmore and wait for the D there. If you never know when a train will conk out, at least try to get yourself as close to freedom as you can.
