Trash pandas are so passe; JP has sewer pandas now

Raccoon coming out of sewer in Jamaica Plain

Michael Spicher reports a Stephen King experience in Jamaica Plain this evening.

We were walking in JP and I looked down and saw a raccoon peering at me from the sewer. We walked further away and waited, and it emerged.

Storm drains are great travel networks.
I recall seeing these heads poking out often, usually in storms drains which dumped out in streams within 100 yards.

Sewage pipes, not so great.
