I think once golf season is over, it opens up to walkers and, in this case, skiers.

... skiing, sledding and walking during the winter. It’s great that a wider group of people get to enjoy these spaces that are usually off limits to all but golfers.

I just spent the afternoon at one. They are ideal for cross country skiing!

Well, skiing and sledding are allowed at the city’s other golf course in Franklin Park; https://www.franklinparkcoalition.org/golf-course/

So it’s likely this course allows it as well.

Yes, you can. They do ask skiers not to go across the greens as they had damage from skiers a few years ago.

Thanks, went this morning.

Not 100% sure why snow-shoers need to walk over most of the XC tracks but it's not frozen so it's all good.
