A switch just doesn't want to work so Green Line riders late to work

At 9 a.m., the MBTA dolefully noted a recalcitrant switch at Government Center meant delays of up to 20 minutes on the Green Line. Or as Maddie reported:
Also not fully because of the switch problem. B line had a 17 minute gap between trains at chiswick.

Speaking of the T
The Globe's summery of the T's fluidly changing story as to why the Orange Line remains much slower than its prior slow speed is a good read.
They won't say exactly why the OL is slow but they will apologize profusely for giving anyone the impression it wasn't going to remain slow.
