Two charged with Dorchester 15-year-old's murder in July

Boston Police report arresting two men on charges they shot Curtis Ashford, Jr. to death on Ellington Street in Dorchester on July 27.
Police say the fugitive unit arrested Zontre Mack, 19, of Canton, on Thursday.
Dominick Gavin, 25, of Boston, had been arrested last month, police say.
Mack was ordered held without bail at his arraignment in Dorchester court on Friday, the Suffolk County District Attorney's office reports:
Assistant District Attorney Julie Higgins said surveillance video and witness accounts showed Mack and Gavin arriving in the Ellington Street area at about 7:30 pm in a car driven by Gavin. Mack, who was 18 at the time of the shooting, then left the vehicle and fired multiple shots at a group of individuals, including Curtis Ashford, gathered on Ellington Street. The group fled upon hearing the shots. Ashford was hit while trying to get away, Higgins said.
