311 complaint of the day: Dorchester has the most banal criminals

X sprayed across the explanation of the Scarecrow mural in Dorchester

A disgusted resident filed a 311 complaint today about the X somebody spray painted across the explanation on the mural that owners Dorchester's own Ray Bolger, who played the Scarecrow in "The Wizard of Oz:"

Sad, People are just culturally illiterate aren't they? This is why we can't have cool things in Dorchester. We are held Hostage by banal criminals.

Ah, this corner.

On the opposite corner of St. Mark's and Dot, Cumberland Farms tried to open in the late 70's. A few other local grocers objected and things got very hot inside the Cumberland Farms, twice. They got the message.
