Colombian restaurant in Hyde Park wins permission to stay open as late as 1 a.m.

The Boston Licensing Board yesterday granted Las Delicias Colombianas 2, 1231 River St. in Hyde Park, permission to extend its closing time from 11 p.m. until 1 a.m.

At a hearing on Wednesday, owner Miguel Ortiz said the later closing time would not be every night but would let him run longer with special events, such as karaoke on Fridays and Saturdays, as well as for rentals for birthdays and other private events.

Nobody spoke against the proposal.
