That lede, Chef's Kiss!
That lede, Chef's Kiss!
I didn't see that one coming. :0>
Dead animals are hilarious.
Not.
So ....
You'll be attending the funeral, then?
When people lash out with dumb sarcastic comments like this …
… they seem to be conflicted and having issues they can’t face.
You must
You must be fun at parties Lee.
This is hysterical
I actually am, cybah.
I’m sure you are too, despite the cliché.
It was clever. But too gruesome for me. Knowing what sort of existence this mutilated corpse had. Road kill has generally had a better life.
And so it goes
Goodbye, Turkey Liberation Front.
sauce
any cranberry bogs nearby??
Ha! Poetic. That landed
Ha! Poetic. That landed excellently, I didn’t see it coming like the top comment said.
Today I lernt “lede” is a technical term possibly originating from copyeditors as recently as 1970. (MW)
I’ve seen the word- or have been cognizant of the word- just recently and as a non-copyeditor it reads to me more like a two syllable word in middle English, leh-deh.
Lede
My understanding is that this spelling originated to distinguish the word from "leading", pronounced LEDD-ing, which means the amount of empty space between lines of type.
It should be "Redeing", then, not "Reading"...
...lest anyone imagine that Massachusetts town to be fun-damental.
This is why
...we need the Turkey Liberation Front, now more than ever, that such tragedies never need happen in our fair region.
